Farmers Building up Resistance

As a Child I Grew up With Rationing Cards

‘This abominable mass murder of creatures that are at the mercy of man greatly concerns me. These animals are being slaughtered, shot, piled up and burnt in their thousands. I am 70 years old now. As a child I went shopping with ration cards during the last war . We were often told, there is nothing left today, come back tomorrow. And now, thousands of tons of meat are being destroyed, meat I would not hesitate to eat, but at sensible prices. But isn’t that exactly why the culling is going on? To shore up falling meat prices? What a crazy world. There are enough poor people who would be glad to have this meat.’
