New Year Thoughts for 2004

Living in Peace and Mutual Respect

In the year 2004, we hope we shall come closer to a world where all the different cultures, religions and languages will fl ourish side by side, each one adding to the total wealth of humanity, and that people the world over will be able to appreciate and enjoy this wealth of diversity while living in peace and mutual respect. We hope for a world where every human being will live with his/her dignity. True globalisation will emerge in such a world, amongst equal nations, not the the fake globalisation which is in reality a path to a global kingdom in which entire peoples, cultures and languages are being destroyed just to satisfy the greed (amd/or fanaticism) of the rulers of two or three countries.

To achieve true globalisation, how encouraging it is that, even through dif- fi cult times. So many people continue to lend each other support. We hope that these dedicated people s efforts will increase and spread throughout the world. We shall never give up encouraging all the good people of the earth and never cease our concern for those suffering from wars, hunger, poverty, poor health and lack of education (or worse: false education).

We shall also never cease to struggle for our diverse indenependent nations sovereignty and the freedom of our peoples. With love for all, and the best of wishes for all who are working toward these blessed aims with strength and patience.
